After spending some time in this divine place, you will trek back down to Jankichatti and drive back to your hotel in Barkot for a well-deserved rest and a hot meal.

After a hearty breakfast, you will drive towards Uttarkashi. The road is scenic, following the river through valleys and small mountain towns. You will reach Uttarkashi by the afternoon and check into your hotel. This town is often called the Kashi of the North and is an important cultural hub. You have the rest of the day to explore the local area, visit the famous Vishwanath Temple, or just relax by the riverside. The atmosphere here is very welcoming, and the views of the Bhagirathi River are absolutely beautiful as the sun begins to set.

Today you will drive from Pandukeshwar to the holy Badrinath Temple for your final darshan.
